What User doesn't like about Paesano's:
The service is excellent (efficient and cheerful). The food is good but I've had better. The ravioli that I ordered, while it was good enough, did not compare to the ravioli that I had had a week earlier in Saskatoon. The problem was that the price seemed a bit high for what we actually received. Not that we were being gouged: not at all. This restaurant closed last year and now the location is an ale house. You cannot go here anymore as it is gone!

We went there for lunch for the last day of business. They sold the business to micro-brewery beer. They used to locate in a hidden spot of No. 3 Road and made a good choice to move to Steveston Village with a patio in the summer. We enjoyed their appertizers and pasta. I felt in love with their seafood spaghetti and grill squid. I hope they will open the restaurant again after a long break.
One of my regular haunts, when I'm in Richmond. Very good food (including the best spaghetti I've ever had)...rushed, understaffed service...cramped and noisy seating...but still a high recommendation.
This is a wonderful spot that has operated for 35 years, but unfortunately, we discovered it will close permanently later this month (May 2016). Such a shame - every dish is wonderful, and the people are great. This time we had the Antipasti Platter to start, and it was the best I've had - included both hot and cold portions. Everything is fresh, and tastes delicious. Such a shame it is closing.
