Sad their north van location closed but willing to drive for this! Such aromatic flavours and variety of authentic Malaysian food. Not many places have pie tee but the shells are nice and light and crispy. Must try everything! View all feedback.
Delicious and authentic Malaysian flavours! They have all the traditional dishes and drinks you would find at at a restaurant in Malaysia. Definitely a good spot for Malay comfort food ?Food: 5/5
Tried this place for the first time as it was close to my hotel and we were feeling Malaysian food. Friendly service. We made a reservation thanks to others advice and thank God we did. The restaurant got really busy. Food came out fast and it was hot and fresh. Everything tasted delicious. We were so full but couldn't stop eating. We will need to go back the next time we are in Vancouver so we can try other dishes.
We're always delighted to have a meal at John 3:16 Malaysian Delights ! There are two locations for this restaurant. This time we went to the Richmond location. It had been years since I last visited the Richmond branch. They've moved to a different location in Richmond; it's much more spacious than the previous spot that they were in. On the table:Roti CanaiKari ChickenChar Kuey TeowRojakSambal Okra, Green Beans EggplantSambal FishBeef RendangCendolEverything was nicely done except for the Cendol. The ice in the Cendol seemed to be crushed ice which meant that we ended up with bigger chunks of ice in our mouth than we'd have liked. This dessert would have been much better if the ice had been finely shaved instead of the crushed ice that we got. We also found the presentation to be a bit odd. Usually, this dessert would be served in a bowl. This Cendol was served to us in a tall, glass mug...the kind you'd expect to see if you walked into an A W restaurant. The usual bowl would have been much preferred as the mug made it difficult for us to mix up the ingredients.Service: GoodParking: Free Customer parking availableLocation: 6838 No. 3 Rd., Richmond
My favorite restaurant! You must try their satay chicken skewers and roti with beef; they were absolutely amazing. So bomb! ? However, the fried rice was a bit dry for my taste, but overall, it's good!Staff were friendly and tentative!
I am a big fan of Malaysian food. Glad that we have finally had a chance to try out this restaurant. Amazed to find ASAM Laksa in their menu. Their Ipoh Char Hor is very good. Also their Bak Kut Teh is so much better than the other Malaysian restaurants in town. Satay (chicken) is so tasty as well. I take one star out is that their reception is just average. Some of the staff seems not so experienced. The pathway from the parking at the back to the restaurant is relatively dirty and somewhat too narrow for people to go in and out. Having said that, if you are a foodie, don’t mind the environment, I believe this is a good bet.
