This is amazing place for Vietnamese Photyp food. Your soup broth is clear and really good, content and portion exactly right and much better than expected if you observe accurately, the small and clear oil rings on the surface of the broth can see as proof that the soup was served with rich taste. I went to dinner hour, no lineup, no long wait, service was friendly and feel welcome. Overall a very nice place for jus... View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Ha Long Bay:
I got #12 BBH small size as usual $9.50) and the noodle was overcooked. It was all broken when I tried using chopstick to eat it, but ended up scooping noodles using spoon instead. Soup was good! Service was friendly. View all feedback.
Best pho I’ve had! (After ones in Vietnam) so so good! Authentic flavour. I’d recommend adding extra beef. Great price and very friendly staff.
What better way to comfort yourself on a cold day in Vancouver. AHHH, a hot bowl of pho.<br/ I gotta be honest, I was a little nervous stepping into this place because I have my top favourite places to have Vietnamese. From start to finish, my service was quick and friendly. My bowl of pho was decent, but the shocker was the salad rolls wow...<br/ Usually it's just noodles, lettuce, with your choice of meat or seafood. But they added cucumbers and veggies. Would I come back? Yes.<br/ The restaurant is very cozy inside as well.<br/
Nothing like a warm bowl of noodle soup to warm your spirits (and your body) on a cool rainy Vancouver night. Usually, that would equate to something along the lines of Pho, Ramen, or some other kind of noodle soup. The subject of tonight’s visit is Ha Long Bay, located along Pender Street in Vancouver’s Downtown Core.
The classic rare beef noodle was fresh and tasty. Good tasting broth (not too salty) and perfectly shorn strips of beef. Spring rolls seemed a bit on the pricey side but their size and the number of shrimp you get seems to make up for that. Friendly staff.
I don't enjoy Vietnamese food as much as I would like to, so when my friend and I visited Ha Long Bay, I asked him to relay a few things. First, the broth had a good consistency and wasn't too salty. Secondly, the meatballs were cooked well and nicely seasoned. Lastly, the pho noodles were tender and had absorbed the broth well enough to enhance the taste instead of changing the taste. Based off of his experience, I may have to go back and try this for myself. The score we agreed on is a 4.0, but that may go up to 4.5 if I get a chance to get first-hand experience.
