Whenever we are in Richmond, we make sure to visit Green Lemongrass. And so we did this time around. It is a mom& pa restaurant that really warms our hearts and stomachs. Their menu include Vietnamese starters, main dishes and soups. All made from fresh ingredients and lots of love. I just adore and admire their pho. They offer a few kinds and I have tasted almost all of them by now. The one we had yesterday was supe... View all feedback.
What George Hill doesn't like about Green Lemon Grass:
This notionally Vietnamese restaurant has a very quaint interior, a holdover from its previous tenant years ago. The people are friendly and prices are average....but unfortunately so is the food. In fairness, we only had the lemon grass chicken and the shredded beef, but the flavors don't seem as robust as many other Vietnamese places in Richmond. Will have go back and try the pho; that is the ultimate test View all feedback.
Good and inexpensive and good atmosphere-- the noodles and sandwich and appetizers were wonderful and so inexpensive-- we will come back!

The food here is typical Vietnamese which you can find anywhere in the Lower Mainland. Selection, presentation and prices are all good. I would not go out of my way to eat here. But if you are in the neighbourhood and want good pho, check it out. There are some vintage equipment from Vietnam on display.

From the airport, my son and I decided on returning to this restaurant. There's limited off street parking. We ordered a couple of appetizers - salad roll and beef short ribs. My son ordered a bowl of Pho and I chose the lemongrass chicken rice dish. Over ordered as we couldn't finish it all. A beer was also included. Portions are generous and delicious and total came to only $41 incl tax. So without the beer (4.75), the total would have been well below $20 each. A definite re-visit.
