Went there on Sunday before 6 pm on Sunday, no line up. Found out price increased to $11.25 for the noodle meal. But it is still a big full bowl. Although price up but still acceptable without chop down the size. When I left, already a line up outside. View all feedback.
What Amanda W doesn't like about Deer Garden Signatures:
The waiter did not have any sense on the guidedogs and rejected my inquiry directly. It is common for many restaurants which is sad. I did not bother to explain it's bylaw that they are required to accept our visit. Even though they have good service, food, and value from my previous experience, I would not visit them any more. I had to stand up for the blind/disable people's rights!!! View all feedback.
Ordered takeout here many times, always delicious and generous portions. I usually get the beef brisket with rice, laksa noodle soup, and spaghetti with sausage and minced meat with tomato sauce. Highly recommend this place for food!
I had seen numerous reviews mentioning the servers' attitudes at this restaurant, but I decided to give them the benefit of the doubt. When we visited, it wasn't very busy, but the servers still managed to mess up our orders and forget items. When we inquired about it, they assured us the missing items were on their way, but it turned out they hadn't even put the order in. When it came time to pay our bill, the cashier not only gave us attitude when we mentioned the missing item, but also complained that our tip wasn't sufficient. They expected a 20% tip as the minimum, but considering the poor service we received, they were lucky to receive any tip at all. If I could, I would give this place a rating of 0 stars.
The crispy fish and fries tastes horrible. The oil they use probably not changed for many days and over use. Worse than fast food restaurants.
Very good noodle house with lots of customizable options. Very tunable to your particular tastes and you can try a different combination each time you go! Personally I like the peanut chili soup, it is very tasty and not too hot. Parking at this location can be very hard to find during peak hours as the mall is packed with other restaurants.
Went here last week with a friend at 7:40pm and we were asked how many after waiting to be seated. after we answered, the man who asked turned around for a few seconds and said to us “sorry we are closed. we are closed”. very confused, we didn’t question it and just left. yesterday i foolishly gave them another chance with 2 of my friends and the service was still awful. the servers had attitude and were extremely impatient while we asked questions about the menu, looking at us like we’re stupid. the food was not tasty, the broth of my soup was salty and the beef brisket was chewier than tire rubber. the server handed us the bill while we were still eating, and right after we paid, had the audacity to confront us for the amount we tipped, and asked if anything was wrong with the service. so to answer that question, yes. there was quite a bit wrong with the service. especially the sense of entitlement to be tipped a certain amount after such a poor performance. the food may have been disappointing but i have never felt so unwelcome in a restaurant before.
