I absolutely adore this restaurant. I've only been for dinner, not dim sum, but I'm obsessed with their fake chicken wings on bamboo skewers with sweet Thai chili sauce! I strongly suggest giving them a try. The portion sizes are generous, so it's best to come with a group and order a variety of dishes to share. The decor isn't the greatest (it's quite brightly lit), but the delicious food keeps us coming back. View all feedback.
What Nelly Richmond BC doesn't like about Bo Kong Vegetarian Restaurant:
The food was delicious, but it was very oily, salty, and had a lot of MSG. We were thirsty within 30 minutes of finishing our meal. The excessive oil intake made it impossible to eat dinner later. Just because a dish is vegetarian doesn't mean it's healthy, as the cooking methods play a significant role. View all feedback.

Food tasted great but everything has lots of oil, salt and msg. 30 minutes after lunch we were looking for water already. After that can not eat dinner because too much oil intake. Veg does not always equal healthy as the way of cooking take a big part of it
This old school Vegetarian restaurant does not follow the trendy hypes of whatever happening to the Sun Po Kong across the street where their food only
DISCLAIMER: I grew up eating Chinese food and my mom's wonton soup, so Chinese food is comparatively mundane for me. If it's a delicious novelty for you, then you might want to rate this restaurant higher. NOTE: This is a vegetarian Chinese restaurant that uses meat substitutes. Part of my positive tilt on how I rate them is in the quality of the fakeness of the meat.
