Mazzio's Italian Eatery - Richland

Our experience at Mazzio's was disappointing. The restaurant seemed to lack the quality you'd expect, especially considering the price. The staff at the counter weren't very enthusiastic or welcoming. Additionally, many of the tables were still dirty, which gave off a poor impression. The condition of the chairs and table covers was also concerning; they appeared worn and in need of replacement. When our pizza was delivered, the employee even picked up a spatula from the closed pizza buffet, which felt unprofessional. This was our first and last visit to Mazzio's.

The experience was just okay. I believe the food could have been better if the staff had a more positive attitude. They seem to forget that being friendly is free and can lead to greater satisfaction for everyone.

This is a quiet family-friendly restaurant. You absolutely must try the cheese diver; it's fantastic! The salad bar is delicious, and the staff is very friendly.

The wings were delightfully messy and juicy, just how I prefer them—dried, neat wings just don't do it for me. My wings were perfectly flavorful, especially with the southwestern sauce. They were simply fantastic! Thank you for making this old man feel welcome and appreciated. Keep those wings messy! I truly appreciate the excellent service and positive attitude. Thank you once again!

We went in without any expectations and were happily surprised by our experience. We chose the buffet, and the pizza exceeded our expectations; it was excellent. The thin crust was delightful, and I particularly enjoyed the sauce, which strikes a perfect balance—neither overly sweet nor bland, but with a nice zesty kick. The salad bar offered all the essentials, and the staff was quick to replenish both the pizzas and the toppings at the salad bar. The restaurant was clean, and the staff diligently cleaned each table after guests left. Overall, this place turned out to be a great find, and I know we will definitely return.
