One of the better hospital cafeterias I've ever been to! Our burgers were made with care. They had impossible patties. Everyone was friendly. Prices were extremely reasonable! It is small and the selection is limited. View all feedback.
What Colton Blanchard doesn't like about Kadlec Garden Cafe:
Since the changes back in the kitchen the food has gotten considerably worse. The grill has more options though and is the same.Be prepared for the grill to take upwards of 15 minutes though. I recommend walking to Burger King down the street. A bit higher quality for a bit less money. View all feedback.

Went into the ER on Tuesday after having sharp pains in my upper left back area for a week. They triaged me right away and my blood pressure was 193/112. They did do an EKG soon after that and I guess that was good. Then waited in the waiting room for 5 hours! After 3 hours I asked if they had any idea how much longer it would be they told me that they don’t see people in the order they come in but instead in order of how bad your vitals are… which makes sense but my blood pressure was 193/112!!!!! Which seems pretty bad to me! Once I finally got back to a room it was pretty much just more waiting, they were going to just send me home saying the pain was a muscle spasm, but I talked them in to doing some blood work first. 5 hours later they came in and told me blood work was fine and to take ibuprofen and sent me home. Next day I looked on my chart and saw I had elevated white blood count and red blood count… nothing crazy but also not normal. The pain continued to get worse so Wednesday I went to the stand-alone Kadlec ER. Waited 3 more hours in the waiting room. I did have MUCH better care here, but still had to request testing. They took a urine sample to check kidneys and did a CT scan to check for a blood clot. This time I looked at mychart while I was waiting for the Dr. The CT scan plainly said “mildly dilated ascending aorta 3.9 cm” so I researched it a little while I waited. Trying not to get to worried until the I spoke to the Dr… Dr came in a few minutes later said “everything is normal” and pain should go away in about 3 weeks… I had to ask him about the mildly dilated ascending aorta to which he replied oh that’s nothing talk to your PCP about it but it’s not a big deal. I went home and did some research on my own… 3.9 cm is not emergent but it certainly is a big deal, especially when you have a connective tissues disorder like I do. Fast forward to tonight my back still has sharp pains, blood pressure has skyrocketed again, I’m having chest pains and my hands are cold while the rest of me is hot… And I’m laying on my couch because what is the point of going to the ER? This is so frustrating!!!
Great service today from checking in to checking out. So very thankful for Kadlec and their staff!
Night and day difference from two years ago to now. I was actually sad to leave behind hospital food this time.
