I called three times, with weeks in between each call, to try the vegan option and finally got to try the vegan flautas today. They are delicious! I wish they would add soy chorizo to add more variety to the flavors. This review was updated on March 13, 2022. View all feedback.

I appreciate the effort to have a vegan tamale, but I was very disappointed to drive all the way to garland for vegan tamales if she had only a lack of Luster tamale that was not very good. They’re doing great as a company but to offer vegan tamales that are delicious is another thing. I loved them.
I’ve called ahead 3 times with weeks between each call and they are always out of the vegan option. Update: I finally got to try the vegan tamales today!! They’re delicious!!! I wish they would add soyriso so it’s not just veggies, but the flavor is AMAZING!! Updated from previous review on 2022-03-13
The fresh vegan tamales at this restaurant are both tasty and satisfying. The portions are generous, equivalent to three regular-sized tamales. The vegetables are incorporated into the masa, creating a flavorful filling throughout. The staff is helpful and attentive to customers' needs.
The vegan tamale was tasty and the sauces were excellent, however, I wish it had more filling instead of just masa. While the vegetables inside were good, I would have preferred something like beans for more variety. The sauces really shine and make the dish worth trying.
Please offer vegan side dishes and increase the availability of vegan tamales for bulk purchase like the regular options.
