I have visited once and it was very chill. The braised chicken is worth the wait. I did not realize as this was my first time but this place is owned and run by traditional China people. They are very personable and friendly, but this doesn 't always fit in with the fast and chaotic pace of an American city. This is not a bad thing mind you, but it should be taken into consideration when ordering from here. Do not expect your food out like an american style chinese chain restaurant. Expect to pay a reasonable price, a chilled out wait for whatever dish you order and expect that dish to be prepared with skill and care.Worth the wait to be sure, cannot recommend enough, give it a try if you are in the neighborhood
Deep-fried dough sticks are the best! Also, like Wonton soup and Soy milk!
This place is definitely not Taiwanese. The names were confusing but the food and staff were nice. The Savory Egg Pancake is not a Dan Ping! The in-house soy milk definitely hits the spot right.
There’s nothing Taiwanese about this place but the food here is quite good. I’d say they specialize in hand pulled noodle dishes and that’s likely somewhere in northern China. The place smells of cumin and could pass for an Uyghur joint. The staff were not Taiwanese but spoke with a northern China mandarin accent. I had the tomato egg noodle. Flavor was good and noodle were cooked well with a bit of a bounce in the chew, the way I prefer. Though, it lacked tomatoes and eggs. Hardly any bits of either but taste was there so I let it go. I also tried the sausage fried rice which was also tasty. The chicken dish also had an authentic flavor as well as the pig ear appetizer. Prices were very reasonable and the lady behind the counter was courteous and patient. I like this place.
Awesome and fresh food, I like the mood this spot has, and the staff members were nice. Will definitely visit here again.
