I enjoyed the chicken and the Vogelnest salad. I am a fan of spicy food, but level 3 heat was a bit too much for me. We visited on a busy Saturday at 1 o'clock. The streamlined menu helped keep the line moving quickly. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Ricky's Hot Chicken:
This sandwich was absolutely delicious! I ordered it hot and it was just perfect. The heat level was even higher than what is normally available. The menu is limited, but the quality of the food makes up for it. The only downside is that the restaurant is too small. It was packed when I visited on a Sunday afternoon, with limited seating available. They should consider moving to a larger space within the same strip c... View all feedback.
Finding this place has been life changing. The food is absurdly delicious- not hot just to be hot, this is spice jam packed with flavor- from Mild to Melt your face spicy. The environment is fast-paced: go in, get your food, head out. The staff are always wonderfully friendly and helpful, and watching the pace they work at is super impressive. The menu is priced well, has variety, and it's worth trying everything you can. Can't go wrong with Ricky's.
My favorite place to get chicken. Had no idea what Nashville hot chicken was before but absolutely adored Ricky's from the first bite to the last. Love that there's a variety of options of how you want your chicken (bite sized nuggets here) and the spice level so that our kiddo can eat here too (he's also a big fan). The chicken is juicy and crisp with flavor that'll punch you in the face. The fries are always super crisp, the only thing soggy will be your brow. As awesome as the food is, the staff really make this place going above and beyond to make every visit a joy and setting the vibe. Really can't recommend the place enough.
Food was good but the atmosphere is horrible, unless you like listening to gangster rap while you eat. Not a place to take small children unless you want them to learn the N word from the music they play.
Sooo good. the huh was perfectly spiced, comeback sauce was divine, and the bungalow was buttery and fluffy. also most trembling-cutries I've ever had was soggy, but these weren't at all. perfect crunchy!
Here's killer. I had a sando and my wife had the most vogelnest. supa hot fiya. I could see how the bread/ sauce does a bit salty and really good. the spiciness was well explained and very beautiful. fries were crisp and seasoned accordingly. the price was at a point of $12 for entré, fries and a drink. I would like to see that the drink selection goes quality. the hfcs is not.
