I went there today for the first time in 30 years (takeout). It was terrific. I had the lunch special with almond chicken. Absolutely HUGE portion size. Tasted just as I remembered. It was nice and clean, prompt service, friendly people. I'll definitely be back.
Update: they have the best chicken wings in town! I have enjoyed the food here for years as Oriental Express has weathered several up and down business cycles because it is very good! I particularly enjoy #25, green bean garlic pork. The egg rolls are great. My wife likes the shrimp with lobster sauce. You can get hot mustard in the refrigerator to your right as you wait in line to order.

I like to commend them for using chicken breast for their chicken that tasted more quality than the other Chinese restaurants. The waitress/owner at the counter were extremely friendly and nice. The food came out super quick and the prices are great. What else can you ask for?
This restaurant offers excellent, authentic Chinese food that hasn't been Americanized. You know it's a good spot when it's bustling with Asian clientele, and you're the only non-Asian there. The hot and sour soup is loaded with vegetables and has a fantastic mushroom base (in response to the review below about its color – the yellow is an additive, but here, the hot and sour soup is made with a mushroom base and cornstarch; they don't use artificial colors, except perhaps in the sweet and sour sauce). The Mandarin beef is definitely delicious, not overly salty, and packed with great flavor. A friend of mine from mainland China used to prepare similar dishes for me, and this place does it just right. It's refreshing to find a restaurant that doesn't cater to Americanized tastes like Pei Wei or similar chains. Two thumbs up!
I've been a fan of Oriental Express for years, and I'm thrilled to see that they have managed to make it through the pandemic! Their Kung Pao chicken is one of my favorites, but they offer a variety of delicious and affordable dishes. I highly recommend giving them a try!
