Go to the cake. The cake here is great. You can't go wrong to get the cake. The two times I had eaten here was not very good. Steer clear of the fish. I give Norske Nook a positive review of the excellent cake. The Lefse isn't bad either, but I never had it anywhere else. Butter on it. View all feedback.

Excellent cake. This is a nice local/regional restaurant that gave us a nice feeling for the heritage of Rice Lake. Friendly service and good food. We had the All-you-can-eat baked cod. It was pretty good and so fill out! The portions were generous and the fish came to diving with warm clear butter. We ordered a Clam Chowder on the side. This batch must have become too hot, it was thin and a little crowned. The taste was good. I propose to skip the Chowder. The cakes were spectacular! I went with the recommendation of the waitress of apple cake and I'm not sorry. My brother liked the blueberry crumbcake. If you are in the area, stop here and try the local atmosphere and kitchen. If you didn't, try. It is a potato tortilla peel that has a beautiful, sweeter taste as normal tortilla peels.
All right! The Nordic pancakes and Lefse Wraps were so unique. They are short staff and half seat capacity. The service was still very good.
Love stopping here when I visit. The food and atmosphere are delightful. I enjoy how different the menu is and the crepes are AMAZING. The coffee is awful unfortunately... I always take home pies from the case and homemade cookies to share with family and friends. The service here is incredibly slow. Please be patient :
Being Norwegian, but living in California, I had heard about Norske Nook and had wanted to try it for a long time. On a trip to Minnesota last week, I made a detour just so I could swing over to Rice Lake. I was not disappointed! Like every place else, they were in need of help but did an excellent job with who they had. I had the lefse wrap filled with chunks of roasted turkey and potatoes topped with gravy. It was delicious. Along with that I savored the Lingonberry cream pie which topped off my meal to perfection. Because I was then going to get together with friends in Minnesota before flying home, I also took along 4 other pies to share. Needless to say, I was a hit with my friends. Everyone of the pies were absolutely delicious! I highly recommend Norske Nook!!
