What Mauro Guerreiro doesn't like about A Familia:
I was not impressed by the quality of the meal given the higher price we paid for a comparable meal elsewhere on the island. Menu selections were limited and not enticing. I would not recommend this to a friend nor would I return for another meal. Just underwhelmed by my experience. View all feedback.
We ate the all you from eat a la carte : vegi noodles and rice noodles, the spicy chicken, the sisling fried beef, the cantonese style duck, the mini spring rolls and the fried banana. Both veggie noodles taste identical. They contain almost no vegetables and have little taste. The chicken and beef are very sweet and not really tasty. The beef seems to come from a can. You get so little of the duck that it is finished in 2 bites, but it is really tasty and very crispy. You only get 3 pieces of the mini spring rolls. The fried banana was very tasty but served without sauce. The dining room is so bare, it almost makes you depressed. The service is typically Chinese : uncomfortably friendly and unworldly. For the price of 16 € it is still reasonable but I will never go back. For those who have a very big hunger, few taste buds and little money. Vegetarian options: Very few vegetables

Their concept is quite nice: if you get the buffet, you can order as many dishes as you want, but you have to finish one before another can be ordered. This way there is less waste. The atmosphere was also very nice and everything seemed very clean.
Painfully average. Wish I had spent my money elsewhere.
