It was great, service amazing, the food was really delicious, really lovely. Truly recommend this restaurant!!!!

The meat was amazing. First time in Madeira I ate all food. This means that was awsom. Great taste, good portions, friendly prices. Atmosphere great. Friendly staff.

The same as ‘Nelson’ we visited this restaurant for the second time on 17 March 2023. Our experience was very different to his… We weren’t greeted on arrival by either Dorio or the waitress and had to find our own table. We struggled to order both our drinks and our food. We began to realise that everyone who had arrived after us was getting their food before us… When the table of thee who’d arrived 30 minutes after us got served their food and we still hadn’t had anything we went to leave at which point, magically after 1 hour and 5 minutes we were told our food was ready. Apparently they’d pre ordered theirs whereas we hadn’t. We had to wait 1 hour and 5 minutes for a one course meal and at no point were we advised of the wait or offered additional drinks or even a snack to sustain us. We fully appreciate that ‘Nelson ‘ had the most wonderful experience at the same time on the same day but given that this was our second visit we will most certainly not be returning for a third!
