The food is awful though. It has little to no taste, so I'm going to assume they use cheap frozen vegetables etc. The sauces also had no flavour either. The food didnt taste bad, it was just so bland it wasnt worth eating.

I usually or... read more I have been a regular customer at the Capital for many years and it has always been my favourite. But my last few takeaways have tasted very bland. I usually order the same meal and the dishes used to be really mouthwatering. But I was so disappointed the meat was dry and all of the meals were bland. Unfortunately I will be trying a different takeaway next time.

Street parking is available, but not too much as it is on a one way street with parking on one side only, it is also close to a junction where there are two public houses and no waiting at all. No access problems. Service is friendly quick, but maybe too quick, as not all of my meal seemed of the same temperature, as though ingredients had been added to a ready made base. Although this takeaway had been recommended to me, my own experience was of it being average, maybe slightly less.

However, other dishes are lacking in salt and do not have any hint of soy sauce or other Chinese sauces like fish sauce. The food is edible and the rice is fine. According to a friend, the chips and gravy are top-notch!

When we c... read more I ordered Chinese food and was extremely disappointed. The dishes were flavorless, the prawn crackers were undercooked and some of them were inedible. When we called to inquire about a dish that was pictured on the menu but not available, we were told that it had to be ordered in a very specific way, which was not clearly stated. The food was just okay overall and I will not be returning to this restaurant.
