We went to Largesse to visit the abbey and since it was noon we decided to have lunch. L'Affenage was chosen because it was almost full of French customers. What User doesn't like about Restaurant L'Affenage:
This place has been around for decades although the management has changed the menu is still uninspired and very basic. The portions are good perhaps to make up for the lack of flavour and sitting out on the terrace is rather lovely. If you like heavy confit then you might enjoy yourself but if you like more variety, flavours and lightness then think again. And it ain't cheap. Oh la la ! View all feedback.

House kitchen, perfect service, very nice waiter. To try without hesitation.
It's been two times we've been eating and never on it. Very good cuisine and hearty dishes.
Very nice discovery. Nice and smiling waitress. 3-course menu for a correct price. We had well-presented and well-stocked plates. We will return without hesitation.
