We moved to the IE from the San Fernando Valley and my Nicaraguan husband missed the food from the homeland. Decided to try this little whole in the wall place and I'm glad we did. Place was packed and staff was super friendly. It took way longer to get our food but it was freshly cooked and tasted absolutely delicious so it was worth it. What Dennis F doesn't like about Daysi's Gusto Nicaraguan Cuisine:
First of all they close at 7 not 8, and even then most days they will close earlier and say the internet is down when in reality they just dont wanna make anything, if youre lucky enough to get the food thats the only saving grace from this place. Trabajan como verdaderos nicas osea no trabajan para nada View all feedback.
You haven't tried Nicaraguan food??? You're missing out!! I recommend the carne asada plate with a cacao drink.. You're welcome ?Food: 5/5
Very nice place and they will help you if you dont know what to order. Arroz de Valencia is highly recommended.

Anything but Nicaraguan food , it's like playing lottery , never know what you gonna get .Besides , call before you go , they don't respect the hours of operation advertised .Close as early as 45 minutes before claiming shortage of workers .And you can see four five employees wandering around .
