Toby Carvery - Rhondda Cynon Taf

I have visited this restaurant many times over the years as it is conveniently located near some of my family members. The staff are generally friendly and helpful, and there is plenty of seating and parking available. However, it is concerning that tables are not always cleaned, especially in the current climate, which may be due to understaffing. The carvery can be hit or miss, depending on the time of day, as I have had both fresh food and dry meat. On the other hand, the pizzas are delicious and fresh. Despite the restaurant's size, the toilets are small and can get crowded, and there could be a better queuing system for paying for food and drinks to prevent congestion near the entrance.

Daylight robbery . Food is slow and service is awful. The man at the till didn’t look happy to serve us at all and hade nothing but a rude attitude throughout the whole visit . On top of that, my mate was charged £2 for stuffed crust on his pizza , which also took ages to arrive and my other mate was charged 50p for a half full small pot of barbecue sauce . Before this visit , my mate waited over an hour for a magherita pizza . The only thing that saved this review from 1 star rating is the fact that most of the staff are friendly. Good service is expected at minimum and also you expect to see sauce on the table and if not , not be told you will be charged for it. Do. Not. Recommend !!!!!!

A classic carvery that never disappoints. I usually visit during the week, so I can't speak to wait times on Sundays.

Excellent value for money breakfast. Eat all you can plus toast and marmalade included. Friendly staff, nice surroundings, ample parking space. Disabled Toilets and Parking.

The quality of the carvery is poor apart from the meat which is ok, the one member of staff we interacted with was very pleasant. I have never had a nice meal here. it was very poor value for money
