Was User at Miskin Arms a mag?
food and service was excellent! After I was let down by another restaurant, I was curious to find somewhere for me and my man at midday and the miskin arms has attached us last minute (I was about 1.15 and we were sitting around 1.45). I'm so glad they had one! eating was amazing and the staff was very friendly. the place was full when we arrived, but eating was not long served and they could not do enough for us to... that was nice to eat. it was an hour between too long cures and we had to ask where our food was. I thought it would be reasonable. I would recommend and return. beratung in advance to book. View all feedback.

Went last night to the miskin arms after he was recommended by a friend and was not disappointed! amazing eating and fab service! all the staff were very attentive and eating was nice and fresh! can not wait to get back for more special occasions! highly recommended!
I was brought to lunch by friends on Sunday. I've never been before, but what a nice place to visit. beautiful ambiente to sit and have my frying beef dinner. the bark was so delicate and tasty and great yorkshire pudding and a nice choice of the veg. service was great and can not wait to come back. thanks!
Had a surprise lunch at this lovely restaurant. We sat outside to enjoy the beautiful weather. We both had ribs to start. They were so tender and tasty. For main course we had lemon sole which again fell apart. A side order of asparagus completed the meal. Waiting and bar staff attentive and professional. Lovely venue and can’t wait to visit again.
The Miskin Arms offers a hit-and-miss dining experience, with some highlights and some disappointments. While some dishes, such as the beef medallions, were cooked to perfection, others lacked in quality. The service was a major letdown for many diners, with rudeness and slow service noted. However, the staff made a special occasion memorable for a group celebrating birthdays. The atmosphere was cozy, and the menu options were extensive, offering a beautiful selection of fresh meat and fish. Overall, the restaurant has potential but needs improvement in areas such as service and consistency.

We decided to have an impromptu lunch on a sunny October afternoon at the Miskin Arms. The restaurant has a 5-star hygiene rating and is set in lovely grounds with a spacious free car park. We were warmly welcomed upon arrival and were able to choose our own table despite the busy restaurant. This was our first visit to the Miskin Arms, but the signature "Martinez" touches reminded us of lunches at Le Monde and the Brasserie, bringing back fond memories. The food was fresh and piping hot, which was a real plus for me. The glass fronted serveries were beautifully presented with all dishes. We only had one glass of wine this time, but we will definitely return for an evening of indulgence when I have a driver.
The restaurant has a beautiful setting, but the service was lacking as I am still waiting for my pint of Guinness. The chateaubriand was tasty, but the side dishes were messy and served on a cheap silver plate.
Popped in here for a mid week lunch. Firstly there is plenty of room in the on site car park at the rear of the building, there's a back entrance straight into the restaurant. Staff and friendly and attentive. We placed our drinks order first then we went to the counter to choose our food. We started with a prawn avocado dish which was nice but the prawns were small. We then both had the tuna steak which was cooked medium as requested, served with chips (there was a choice between chips, new or jacket potato). We also ordered a salad bowl to accompany the dish. The main course was lovely, it's good to have restaurants serving fresh tuna which you can't often find. The home made chips were also good fluffy on the inside crisp outside. There is no service charge added to the bill which is a pleasant change so be sure to make sure you take cash as the staff definitely deserve a tip ! Thoroughly enjoyed our lunch we will return.
The food for a group of 18 people was excellent. All served by an efficient welcoming and friendly staff. The party was catered for impeccably and the environment in the function room was extremely comfortable with personal attention at all times. We all really enjoyed the evening Thank you
The Miskin Arms is a delightful restaurant just north of Cardiff and is definitely worth short the drive. The staff are the friendliest and most helpful you could meet. The menu is mouth watering comprehensive and whatever you choose it will certainly be delicious. If you are lucky enough not to be driving there is an extensive range of wines I recommend the superb New Zealand Terra Nova Sauvignon blanc). Yum Yum!
