Not having eaten here for a while my wife and I decided to eat here, we both had the liver and onion with 5 veg lunches, the liver was excellent, while I finished mine my wife struggled to eat all of hers, the staff are friendly, we’ll we certainly enjoyed it, we recommend this cafe for the food is excellent and very reasonably priced, well done will eat here again. The food is delicious, the staff are friendly and efficient, and there are no dirty plates or cups left on tables. What more could you ask for from a quaint cafe in the valley?

We chose to dine at this restaurant again because the food is consistently delicious. My wife ordered the senior portion of beef dinner, while I opted for the senior portion of lamb dinner. The meal was delicious, as always. We both enjoyed the apple pie with custard for dessert. The staff were friendly and the prices of the food were very reasonable. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to others looking for a great place to eat.

My partner and I regularly visit Afon Dar with our 2 year old son. Dee and the owner are always welcoming and my son loves them (especially when they give him a lolly and Freddo). Would definitely recommend for beautiful, homely food.
