Along wit... read more First time visiting Rhinelander; first time stopping in at the Rhinelander Cafe Pub and we couldn't have asked for a better, more positive experience. Along with a glass of one of their very fine craft beers we each had a cup of the mostdelicious French Onion Soup EVER and an order of some very fine chicken wings with Thai Chili Sauce. We would not hesitate toreturn. The overall menu including what looked like a very fine selection of house made desserts looked very tempting. Theatmosphere was warm and welcoming; our waitress, very helpful and pleasant.

The problem came afterwards, we were seated in this weird area that is basically a fire hazard, and we were ignored by everywaiter/waitress. It’s like our table doesn’t even exist. Long story short, we were there for 3 hours, and when it reached9PM (when the restaurant closes and they were literally cleaning) we still didn’t have our food. Asked several times beforebut apparently nothing went through. Customers before us had their food and even finished despite we being seated ahead of themby 30 minutes or more. They told us they were having a bad day, understandable, yet it doesn’t mean this experience didn’thappen.
