Quaint location (literally a stand-alone house) and some very good seafood specialties (languoustine croquettes, Baked lobster tail and the like) prepared in fusion-like style with all its foams and trying a bit too hard, East meets West characteristics. Overall a nice night. Friendly service. View all feedback.
Food was good. All dishes were tasty. But the service was really slow. We waited 20 minutes for 2 starters and more than 30 minutes after that to get the main courses. Overall, a bit pricey but worth the money. Just don’t come when you have limit time.
We saw this place on an ad on the plane and it looked amazing. Having to eat our way through Iceland I wanted to try everything on the menu, instead we did a bunch of appetizers which was filling enough for two of us. We did the foie gras which was amazing, the horse, smoked char and minke whale, the beet carpaccio and the Langoustine soup. Everything was delicious, the service was impeccable and the decor was top notch. Would highly recommend this place to anyone thinking of trying it.
Absolutely amazing...down to every detail!! First of all the place is cozy chic with hidden gems everywhere. The waitress was top professional as well as a kind soul. Secondly...the 'Sweet Lava ' cocktail...an original tasty drink by far! And of course the food...I am speechless...(languostine soup for starters then the shellfish symphony)...every bite was treasured!
This dinner was a disappointment from beginning to end. I decided to check out this place because of the reviews and I was left dissatisfied. I feel this restaurant is very overrated and incredibly over priced. Pros: The atmosphere was good and the service was attentive but not intrusive. The desert was simple but good. Cons: The soup tasted off (bitter) and left a very unpleasant after taste. Once the soup is combine there was a green sludge that floated on top and made it unappealing. The main course was flavorless. I was expecting a grand experience, but that is not what occurred. There was just simply no flavor. I also did not like the bathroom. It was strange very small room. When sitting on the toilet you have to put your feet on the door sill because there is no room in front of it. Further I had to crouch down to wash my hands in the sink because the ceiling was too low. Bottom line: I would not recommend or return for another meal at any point in time.
