I went in tonight and ordered a Subway Melt. They gave me just one slice of ham, one slice of turkey, and maybe two strips of bacon on each 6-inch half. It was hardly toasted—the cheese wasn't even melted—and the bottom of the bread was so hard it felt like it could build a front porch! They also claimed they didn't have any Italian herb bread ready, saying it needed to cool for 30 minutes after baking. They offered me white bread instead, which was fine, but no one contacted me to ask if that was okay. When I brought it up, the staff member said she was about to text me, but the sandwiches were already made. I should have trusted my instincts; it seems nothing has changed in the past six months, and I was absolutely right.
The sandwich was good, fresh ingredients. The subway is inside the gas station. The staff seemed fairly new, but still made a good sandwich.
