I truly love this place. Yes, it's Westernized Chinese food, but it's darned delicious Westernized Chinese food.I have never had a bad experience here. The owners are great, the food is delightful, and the place needs more exposure as a whole.Best Hot and Sour soup ever. Straight up. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about New Mannings:
we ordered boiled beef and kung pao chicken for the trip. to be honest, they find out that a Chinese restaurant in a small city is great, but food flavor are terrible. cooked bark very salty and spicy, I doubt that they sell asian market cooked bark to cook it, not like a cook dish. The restaurant has a family-style atmosphere with a friendly staff. There is a good variety of vegetarian options to choose from. We tried the vegetable hot pot and pan-fried curry noodles which were both delicious, with a perfect combination of fresh vegetables and sauces.
The food at this restaurant is absolutely delicious! It is a family-owned business and everyone working there is incredibly friendly. My family felt very welcomed during our visit. I highly recommend this restaurant, 10/10!
I haven't even finished my large portion of food, but I am already giving this restaurant a five-star rating. The staff was incredibly friendly and I felt welcomed as soon as I walked through the door. I highly recommend this place to everyone.
Just had a sit down meal with my family of 5. Excellent portions, quality of food and service. Best Chinese food I've had since we left the U.k 10 years ago. Thanks for a great meal.
Mixed experience...ordered a takeaway, lady on front of house was v friendly. I was told to come to pick it up in 30 mins which I did. Was kept waiting a further 40 mins while in the restaurant which was far too long. Only two tables in the restaurant were occupied and no-one else came in for takeaways while I was there so don't think there was a backlog of orders. When I got it home the Szechuan Beef I'd ordered was not there, instead what I think was beef hot plate had been substituted. Bit disappointed as the other meat dish I'd ordered was chicken hot plate so had two of the same thing pretty much. Pork chow mien was not that tasty, no fresh veg in there just 90% noodles and 10% pork. On the other hand, the salt and pepper shrimp was really good, as was the special fried rice.
