A same day booking was made easy! The staff were lovely and accomodating. They know what they are booking ya in for. When you check in, they ask if you've stayed with them before and if so, then you know the state of the rooms. They arent trying to pull the blinds over youre eyes and the rooms are great for what you pay. This hotel is historic, rustic and great for a night or two in a town where it costs an arm and a... What Louis Campbell doesn't like about Frontier:
I am used to going to hostels and cheap shared accommodation. This is not like that at all.Our room reeked of cigarette smoke and our neighbor creeped at us through their door every time we went in/out.Ended up feeling very unsafe.Bed was clean, apart from aforementioned ciggy stank.Overall I would not recommend staying here.Safety: Feels unsafe, we were glad we had bear spray.Walkability: Need to cross highway to ge... Good place to rest for the night. The guy who works in the Fas Gas is ?? Only negative, they ran out of gas. But there's plenty gas stations 1 minute away.
Amazing! After getting married we had our honeymoon in this fantastic hotel
The rooms are rustic. But it has (what I think are important things. It has free wifi, fridge, microwave, outlet near the bed (for cpap , tv (I think cable . Things I think every satisfactory hotel will have. I is motel style. (I prefer that easy to get my stuff from the car to the room back. It is only 1 level, so you don't have to worry about being on the second floor (which would defeat the advantages of the hotel style . The most important is that it is the cheapest hotel in Revelstoke near the highway. It's not supposed to be a high service hotel with room service and such, but the staff are friendly. They have a store and gas station.
Rooms are way out dated and bathtub is dangerous to get in and out of let alone washing yourself while showering. Floors sticky from not cleaned well. Over priced to add to it.
