The first impression when entering the restaurant: Young audience, great ambience, but absolutely too loud. The understanding at the table was almost impossible. You could talk about the phone on the side table. Well, the restaurant was neatly full, but to reach some cosiness at dinner would be a lot to do. The service was very attentive, but the drink came absolutely too late, namely after the appetizer to the main course. The appetizer, a guacamole on the table (depressed avocado with onions and peppers, pikantly seasoned) was very tasty, but could only be prepared in the second run, as the first avocado was immature, as the upper one himself said. The main dishes were also absolutely delicious, consisted of fresh ingredients and can be recommended for the best conscience. As a small compensation for the various inadequacies, there was a free drink after the bill. To my review: The very attentive and friendly service would have actually earned a little more than 3 stars, but a double hook regarding the drink as well as the thing with the appetizer gave deductions. The ambience is really well managed, but if you can't talk normally during the meal, the environment goes into the background. Conclusion: Food can hardly be good at Joe Pena, but the drummer leaves much to be desired.
