Was fcserg at Can Jaume's a mag?
Maybe something changes, but when we visit this place, everything was pretty good food, service, and price. Menu del Dia costs near 11 euro, includes 3 meals and desert. Vino de la Casa was tasty too. I hope my review will make this place more popular. View all feedback.

We booked a table for three several days before we went there (today, 13th May 2017) but I was surprised that the manager/owner was not interested in taking down any details. Now I realise that he knew that even today, a busy Saturday, the place would be deserted. At lunch, there were two tables occupied out of more than 20. That should have been a warning sign but we sat down anyway. We had the set menu (2 dishes plus dessert) for 17 euros. The three salads we ordered were very basic and contained only the cheapest ingredients. Nothing special at all. My daughter 's ' 'arroz negra ' ' was very salty (almost inedible), contained only one mussel and the baby pieces of squid were absolutely raw, obviously just thrown in at the last moment. My wife and I had paella which was also almost inedible too. The ingredients once again were very basic and cheap and the dish itself was almost too salty to eat It had no fish taste at all, only salt. I more or less managed to finish mine through hunger but my wife left hers, unable to eat it. Dessert was a huge disappointment. I ordered ice cream with three different flavours but was amazed to be presented with an extremely thin piece of ice cream between two wafers. An insult to the diner, really. The owner of this place needs to have a really good think about what he 's doing if he wants the place to be even a third full. Significantly, an alcohol-free beer comes in a bottle of a fifth of a litre. Another cost-saving ploy from the owner. I have never seen that anywhere else before unless specifically asked for. Beer everywhere else always comes in bottles of a third of a litre. The cost of the meal was 51 euros for three. An absolute meal to forget and never to be repeated. Simple advice: stay away or have a much more delightful meal at McDonalds.
....but a real let-down. Food not particularly good. House wine truly awful. Central heating hasn't arrived at this corner of Reus.
