The service was prompt, and our server was very friendly. However, we did encounter an issue with a loud group at a nearby table whose raucous conversations were quite annoying throughout our meal. In a single room without any partitions, our hopes for a peaceful dining experience were dashed. It would be wonderful if fellow diners could be more mindful of those around them. There's really no need to speak so loudly, especially when discussing personal matters that others don't want to overhear. This is not a weekend night at a bar! Otherwise, it was a lovely country restaurant. I felt for our waitress, who had to manage the noise while also handling separate bills. We’ll likely return, hoping it won’t coincide with that rowdy group again. It would be nice if more people valued a few basic good manners.

If you're looking for great food without the crowds in Geneseo, I highly recommend this charming little diner. I'm so glad I found it through a quick Google search on our way home!
