Pleasantly surprised. We were not sure what to expect as we booked without seeking any review or recommendation on this occasion The restaurant was reasonably busy for a Wednesday evening. The menu was varied and the food was of a high standard. I have no comment about wine as the majority were driving that night. A starter of ham hock terrine commenced the evening. The mushroom pithivier was a little on the small side but overall went down extremely well. I was therefore the first to finish the main course and so I hovered around my wife’s plate hoping for some of her chicken..... it was too good and so nothing was coming my way. Others had chicken or a steak and the consensus was that the restaurant is well and truly on our ‘list’ and we will frequent again. Staff were busy and we never had to ask twice for anything they were attentive with a good sense of humour. I recommend that you don’t hesitate to pay a visit. I am confident that you will not be disappointed

The restaurant is lovely, bright and airy and with the right amount of tables so you don't feel like you are sitting on top of other diners. The food was delicious and presentation very good. The prices are very reasonable and with 3 courses at £20 I don't think anyone could complain. We would definitely recommend this restaurant and visit again.
Absolutely lovely place. The staff were absolutely amazing we went with my grandmother who has limited mobility and we were struggling to find a parking space close by, but when I went in to let them know we were here but would be a few mins late, the manager offered to move his own car so we could park right outside. The rest of the staff showed just as much kindness and care through the night. Also the food was amazing! Not huge portions, but that just means there was room for desert! The food was also so rich and tasty that we were all stuffed by the end. So overall, lovely atmosphere, fantastic food, and outstanding staff. Will definitely be back and reccomendong to all!
Enjoyed the food, well presented. However I didn't like the actual restaurant part very open like a canteen. Also a TV was present on the wall! Trying to have a nice meal with a TV flickering away distracting you! Also the lighting was a bit in my opinion too bright!
Absolutely brilliant, we had a table for 15 and we were looked after extremely well. Service was great, food was amazing. My girlfriend and I had the chateaubriand and it is up there with the best meals we've ever had... I would highly recommend
