The Melting Pot - Reston

Food was great. Service was good but had major issues with our bill. Things were odd from the start. There were rose petals and fresh flowers at our table upon arrival. Okay thats nice — until our bill comes and its $30!!! For something we did not order. And they overcharged us for the Special Promo meal we ordered. Seems our server made a mistake when he told us the lobster was included in our meal plan but it actually was an up-charge. Yes, they made it right — but only after 3 tries and a talk with the manager. Really takes all the joy out of the experience.

My daughter chose The Melting Pot for dinner to celebrate her birthday and we could not have enjoyed the experience more! April, the manager, went over the top to accomodate my need for the *perfect* table for our night. The rest of the team was knowledgeable, helpful and transparent when we had questions. It has been a few years since we had a meal at The Melting Pot and, after last night, we are very excited to return. I can't thank you enough for the fabulous night!

Amazing food but what exceeded the expectations was the service that we received. Alexander U went above and beyond and he was very pleasant. Very rare to find good customer service nowadays. Melting Pot is lucky to have Alexander as a team member.

We celebrated our one year anniversary with a trip to The Melting Pot. Our server, Alex, was very personable and answered our questions regarding menu options. We went in the afternoon so the ambience was quiet and chill. They were even playing one of my favorite artists, Lane 8, while we dined. From the delicious high quality food, to the exceptional service from all the staff, it was a perfect meal with my favorite person. Thanks guys!
