This is a small 2 star hotel in a very lovely square in old Requena. Rooms are basic but pleasant. The owner and staff are all very friendly and helpful, and speak some English. The breakfasts are very good, with plenty of choice. Evening meals in the restaurant are also good, providing you are OK with local food nothing international here! and the Paella Valenciana was absolutely superb. Overall, a very nice hotel.

Stayed here 2 nights in June, it was ok, it was a all a bit tired, which is reflected in the price, so what can you expect. Well I think you should expect the reception, bar and restaurant to be working between normal hours. It seemed a quiet period In Requena and sometimes you had to wait till staff arrived from where ever they were, not on site. We did enjoy our time here, but would have preferrred to eat and drink in house, but overall the standard is a bit low, sorry

Lovely lunch for four of us. The chef came out as she spoke better English than the waitress. She seemed really proud of her cooking and she was right to be. Lovely lunch, loads of it and really good value. The cava was incredibly cheap and really lovely local bottle.

We stopped by here for drinks and tapas on two occasions. There were several different local wines to try, in generous proportions and some delicious tapas.

Four of us had been sightseeing in the old town and were looking for somewhere for lunch. The other two restaurants in the square looked very busy but a very large family group had just left the Hotel La Villa so we thought we'd give it a try. In no time at all the terrace had been tidied up and we were sat comfortably at a table overlooking the square. The two friendly ladies who looked after us helped us choose some tapas dishes which soon came out, fresh and delicious. With wine to accompany the food, and a nice coffee afterwards, all at an incredibly reasonable price, we felt we had stumbled across a real gem. This really is Spain at its simple and charming best!
