Was Darren Trebel at Fell Penrith a mag?
A lovely brewery tap room in the hart of town, a huge choice of excellent beers larger and wine and the spirt of your choice, comfortable surroundings, friendly atmosphere, and dog friendly. Price per person: £1–10 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4 View all feedback.

What Derek Matthews dislikes about Fell Penrith:
I enjoyed a nice pint of bitter, although it wasn't from Fell Brewery. I considered trying another, but many of the options were absurdly priced, reaching £6 or £7 and sometimes not even a full pint! So, I opted to find a place with more reasonable prices instead. Price per person: £1–10. Service: 5. Atmosphere: 5. View all feedback.

Great little bar with a huge selection of regional beers. It's pretty small so you might struggle to get a seat at popular times.

Four of us visited here for the evening after travelling up from the Midlands. Easy to get to in the town. The downstairs room is quite cosy but there is a bigger room with more seating upstairs on the first floor with the toilets being located on the second floor. Great selection of beers and a few ciders too, we sampled a good few of them as we stayed for about 5 hours.. Staff were friendly and efficient and the place was very well patronised with most if not all the seating being taken up for most of the evening until about 10.30pm. We had not eaten since lunch and an especially nice touch was that we were allowed to bring locally purchased take away food to eat whilst we finished the evening off. Our original intention was to maybe visit a couple of local hostelries but this place had everything we needed and resulted in a most enjoyable evening.
