The Melrose Grill - Renton

Best Steakhouse in Seattle area. John Howie, Met Grill, Daniels...got nothing on this place. No views, much less pretentious (reflected in pricing to boot) Prep and presentation are A-1 Top Shelf. Been to all the above, Melrose is IT!!

Wonderful atmosphere and service. Love the Ribeye cooked just right! The neighborhood is also very walkable.

We had a fabulous experience came out from San Diego for a little getaway and the service was impressive May was awesome and not to mention the food was absolutely amazingly delicious.

Great restaurant with excellent food and excellent service. My family was vacationing in Seattle and staying in Renton and we were looking for a good steakhouse nearby. We found this and it was highly rated so we decided to check it out. The restaurant isn't fancy and the menu is kind of limited but the food here is very good. I ordered a ribeye and it, along with the sides, were all delicious. I hate paying for bland food, and you'll find none of that here. Everything was well seasoned and cooked perfectly. No soggy, overcooked veggies here! Well worth stopping by here at least once if you are in or near the area.

Restaurant we always wanted to try. Service was great. Good steaks. Seafood, no. Lobster was old ? breaking down, with a hint odor of old seafood, not stored properly maybe? It 's a steakhouse so maybe we should have stuck with steak. Desserts were good. We will not return.
