Breakfast was good. Self-made cookies, engraving might have been better, but good. Pancake and sausage were good. The waiting staff is friendly and attentive. A beautiful place View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Royal Oak Family:
They usually have good, mostly American, food, but I have there 35 minutes before they closed, so only ordered eggs, potatoes toast to make it quick, because I know how it is to do your side work before the restaurant. I said sorry to the girl that it was so close that she looked at me without a kind greeting, she said yes, we close in half an hour... but you can still order. I ordered basic food. The food was good, depending on what you have. The Mexican soup was good. The price was reasonable. The atmosphere was cool and an ice store next door, but nevertheless they did not take a card.
An oasis of great food and great service on our way home. The staff was very friendly, and helpful with our menu choices. I chose the nacho cheese covered cheeseburger ? because it was something I hadn't seen anywhere. Truly a treat.

We were driving across Indiana and stopped at Fair Oaks farms based off of multiple recommendations. We were not happy at all with are experienced there they were out of biscuits at 10:30 on a Saturday morning. So we looked at reviews and decided to come to the Royal Oak. Everything was perfect we were waited on in a timely fashion the girls who worked there were polite and friendly and fast. Our food was very good tasty and at a reasonable price. My husband had the prime rib special and I had a 1/2 order of biscuits and gravy and a Belgian waffle. The Belgian waffle was terrific my husband tried some and agreed. I enjoyed my biscuits and gravy too.
This restaurant is very modern and very clean. It had a very friendly wait staff and fast hot food as well. Loved it will come back again!
