Th... read more Just a small restaurant in the motel. But once you order you will be amazed. We don't normally eat at motel restaurants but we would eat here again for sure. They have a great selection of beer and wines including some great local choices. I had the saltbush lamb and it was one of the best meals I have eaten. We will definitely come back. Good kids menu and good value.

After asking at a nearby service station where to eat in the town, the attendant suggested the usual suspects, the Club, the Hotel and then he said, the restaurant across the road has very good food and reasonably priced for what you get. That's where we were staying. He was spot on. We checked the menu in our room and decided to try it and were glad we did. The service was very good, drinks reasonably priced but the food was extremely good. I had the Saltbush Lamb which was very tasty, beautifully presented and quite sufficient. The garlic bread was spot on too. My wife had two entrees, Oyster Kilpatrick and Stir fry chicken and was very happy with both of them. The menu has a good range of options. It was Saturday night so we made an early booking and glad we did because the place was practically full by 7pm, evidence that the locals enjoy a night out here and like it too. So if you are staying there or visiting Renmark, seriously consider eating dinner at Ashley's restaurant.

The lamb skewers with sweet potatoes and seasonal vegetables were tender and flavorful, while the chicken mushroom noodle dish was also delicious. The service was excellent, friendly, and prompt. The atmosphere may seem old-fashioned, but it provides a very pleasant dining experience. They also allow BYO. Overall, a great spot for a tasty meal.

The chef, Ashley, really knows how to cook. The saltbush lamb was delicious and perfect for me, while my wife loved her chicken dish. Our daughter enjoyed the grilled salmon with bruschetta topping. It was a nice surprise when the chef came out to greet his sister, who was also dining. Overall, a great experience.
