What johnnymac2017 likes about The River Inn:
We had a great meal at The Carvery last Friday, November 24th. The food was excellent as always, thanks to Jason's usual high standards. However, we were disappointed to hear from Angela that the restaurant would be closing on Sunday, November 26th. The restaurant seemed busy with a large party of about 50 women celebrating, but it seems it was not enough to keep the business going. We will miss The Carvery! View all feedback. What Barbara B doesn't like about The River Inn:

read moreThe dining scene offers a blend of memorable and not-so-memorable experiences. While some establishments feature cozy atmospheres and attentive staff, the food quality often falls short of expectations, with frozen items and poorly executed dishes appearing too frequently. Yet, there are shining stars, such as impressive carvery selections and delicious Indian cuisine that strike a chord with patrons. Despite some establishments facing challenges, like imminent closures or unsatisfactory meals marred by mishaps, many diners continue to celebrate the comfort of good company, generous portions, and the joy of culinary discovery, leaving mixed sentiments about their overall experiences.
