Sitar - Renfrewshire

We were part of star tours and they brought us into this restaurant. Unfortunately, the previous reviews about the quality of the mix of food are true. they need to improve and offer the tourist, instead of making standard food for Scottish people.

Loved the hospitality and taste! was here as part of a group tour and we came to dinner in 2 nights. also Malaidar-Scatter was great. fast refilling in the buffet tanks there was always a person to ensure that the food was always available for the guests.

I have milk and gluten sensitivity. the menu lets them know exactly what is gluten-free and milk-free. the staff is very helpful and eating came after our order. we had chicken cure with sweet and lamb with okra. we had sides of garlic nanan and mushroom fried rice. eating was delicious and very good. if they like to season, they ask. it's not exaggerated.

I visited this restaurant for the first time with some friends. After discussing what we wanted to eat, we decided to go with the owner's recommendations. The food was incredible, with a variety of flavors in the sauces. The owner was passionate about answering our questions about the ingredients. We have been back several times since then, and the food is always authentic and delicious. I tried the tandoori salmon and it was absolutely delicious. I had it with rice and curry sauce and now I think I'm addicted.

Food in here is good, every time I've been extremely satisfied with both the quality and the price of the food. However, the place could be doing with a serious refurb, it looks more like a grotty greasy spoon than a restaurant and will probably put customers off visiting what is otherwise a very decent Indian restaurant.
