Karras' Way - Renfrew
Karras' Way
Description
The reviews for this restaurant are quite mixed, with some indicating that the food is mediocre and lacking in Greek options, while others praise the excellent service and delicious food. The atmosphere is described as pleasant and charming, and some highlight specific dishes such as the chicken souvlaki and lamb chops as outstanding. The seafood platters and salads are also highly recommended, with some customers declaring this as their new favorite restaurant. However, there were some negative points mentioned, such as disappointing spanokopita and the default side of fries instead of salad with some meals. Overall, it seems that while there may be some inconsistencies in the dining experience, many customers still find this restaurant to be a good choice for a tasty meal in a nice atmosphere with friendly service.

Stopped in today for another incredible lunch. We both had the chicken gyro platters. Mine with Greek potatoes & salad and my wife with just Greek salad. Nice portions. Always so fresh and delicious with awesome service and reasonably priced. 2 platters and 2 Perrier $32 taxes in. Give it a go, you'll be satisfied.
The best house salad ever, is prepared and served here. The best salads prepared anywhere is at this restaurant,All the greens are crisp and fresh and the dressing are home made. No disappointments ever in any salad orders. A good all round restaurant. If you are a lover of Greek food, this is the place to eat. I would eat here anytime and every day if I could,
Good Greek food. Dinner atmosphere. Fair prices. Located centrally down town. Not many good places to eat in the Frew. This is one of them.
The food and presentation exceeded my expectations. I initially thought I wouldn't be able to finish my plate, but it was so delicious that I ended up clearing it!
The food was fresh and delicious, but there weren't many Greek options on the menu. I tried the souvlaki platter, but the potatoes were not the traditional Greek style, and there was no tzatziki served. The Greek salad had only one olive and was mostly made up of lettuce. While there were plenty of non-Greek dishes available, I noticed that other patrons had more generous portions. Our experience felt a bit rushed since we didn’t have a reservation, even though the restaurant was only half full at the time. If you're looking for an intimate dining experience, be aware that the tables are quite close together, which might lead to getting to know your neighbors a bit too well.
