View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Maxxy:
Je pense que la nourriture est bonne mais par contre le service n'est pas excellent. De plus, ce qui manque à ce restaurant c'est le wi-fi, une chose qu on s'attend à avoir dans les restaurants et pas de prise si on veut travailler. Ce qui est aussi un plus qu'on prend l'habitude de trouver. Par contre comme dit au-dessus si on recherche uniquement à manger cet emplacement est bon. View all feedback.
Amazing people and very welcoming plus the food is so tasty
An excellent culinary experience only limited by taste buds, the durum tasted in Renens revealed an exquisite fusion of Mediterranean flavors in a picturesque Swiss setting. Located in the heart of the city, this gourmet spot has captured the essence of authentic Mediterranean cuisine, offering a culinary escapade that awakens the senses. The first encounter with durum was marked by the delicate twist of a freshly made flatbread, an early indication of the commitment to the freshness of the ingredients. The soft texture of the patty, lightly toasted to create a light golden crust, provided a perfect canvas for the feast that was to follow. Meat, the central element of any self-respecting durum, was a hymn to tenderness and flavor. The grilled lamb, marinated in a blend of exotic spices, offered a burst of flavors that were vibrant without being overwhelming. Each bite revealed the mastery of cooking, leaving a deliciously memorable imprint. Fresh vegetables, a vibrant color palette, were a celebration of seasonality. Scarlet tomatoes, crunchy cabbage, caramelized onions and sautéed peppers brought a freshness that perfectly balanced the richness of the meat. The attention to detail was evident, with each ingredient contributing to a symphony of harmonious flavors. The sauces, like notes in a culinary score, were well orchestrated to complete the whole. A yogurt sauce provided a refreshing creaminess, while a hot sauce provided a well-balanced touch of heat. The garlic sauce, creamy and fragrant, added a dimension of flavor that complemented the durum perfectly. Spices, used judiciously, were a sensory journey in their own right. Cumin, coriander, and sumac created a depth of flavor that evoked bustling Middle Eastern markets. Each bite was an exploration of nuance, a perfect balance of spicy boldness and delicate flavors. Fresh coriander, artfully scattered, added the final touch to this culinary composition. Each green leaf brought a herbaceous freshness that danced on the palate, leaving an invigorating imprint. It was an ode to simplicity and sophistication, a statement of the importance placed on fresh ingredients and careful presentation. However, despite this superlative dining experience, some subtle notes of bitterness emerged. The taste buds, although satisfied by the variety of flavors offered, felt a slight restraint in exploring more daring taste territories. Perhaps an opportunity for the establishment to push the boundaries and offer more adventurous options for intrepid palates. In conclusion, the durum tasted in Renens was a successful gastronomic escape. Each element, carefully orchestrated, contributed to a culinary experience that transcends geographic boundaries. Despite some modest reservations, the ensemble captured the essence of Mediterranean cuisine with an elegance that deserves to be commended. This place positions itself as an essential destination for lovers of authentic flavors, offering a window to a corner of the Mediterranean in the heart of Renens.
Very bad service, waiter not friendly, not welcoming
One of the best places for kebab in Lausanne, ingredients fresh look, service is fast, taste is great. A great experience in general.
I had many kebabs in Switzerland and in the Lausanne region and that's the best I've found for 10 years. The selection of vegetables is huge and quality also, sauce are also delicious, but especially meat is delicious and served...in HUGE quantity, also in peak hours. Always pay a visit when I'm in town and never got disappointed.
