The people who work here... read more The hotel with guest house, in which we were accommodated, is of a pleasant size, so that one can almost speak of a family connection. The people who work here are so kind and nice and accommodating and uncomplicated and flexible that there really isn't enough words to describe it. My dog and I felt really safe and comfortable here. My little one was also allowed to join us at breakfast, which is by no means the norm these days. You guys are great and I hope to come back here again for another guest performance. On the occasion of a party with about 60 guests, the team from Restaurant Kromberg conjured up a perfect meal for us! Not only was it delicious, it was also well prepared. There was a large selection of different burgers with different buns. The side dishes were also very good. Thanks to the great OFYR grill, cravings came up in advance and the grill also looks good. The amount was more than plentiful, the counter lovingly decorated and the team in a good mood and with full commitment. Assembly and disassembly went smoothly and exactly as agreed. All planning in advance with Mr. Kärst was competent, good advice and top! Only to be recommended!

The s... read more There is absolutely no value for money here. For an outdated “guest house” in Remscheid-Lüttringhausen, €85 without breakfast is absolutely not justified. The service at the reception was rather mediocre and the room (actually in the guest house) was OK but it smelled a bit musty. Cleanliness was ok so far, there was a small TV that worked reasonably well and there was nothing else available (e.g. small bottle of water or something similar, it doesn't cost the world and for that price something like that should be included). You also looked in vain for a refrigerator and minibar. The fact that room service is only offered upon request is ok, but the fact that the trash can is not emptied once in 6 days is not ok! This room service sign (see picture) is also rather problematic and overdramatizes the situation. The hotel is probably more concerned with cost savings and the environment. As far as the restaurant is concerned, it's not very inviting and also clearly overpriced. Overall, my wife was happy to finally be able to leave after 6 nights. To say something positive, the distance to the conference location was good.
