Having now lived in Basel for almost a year I had only visited ARCADE for after work drinks on a Friday. Staff have always been welcoming and prices decent. I finally decided to take my mum and daughters for a meal there and the food was amazing!!! I had a salad which was incredible huge with fruits and so much amazing stuff included. Son was dying to go to the toilet so went here for a quick pit-stop, for good manners decided to have a few refreshments for son, young daughter and myself. Got a water, coke, and an orange juice.....and a small bowl of ice cream.....bill came to over 20 euros.......Just a bit shocked with the price.....even if it is Switzerland.... View all feedback.

I have eaten here twice for lunch and twice for dinner. The food is consistently excellent with a great presentation. Staff are courteous and attentive, the chef ALWAYS comes out to greet, etc.
I call service something different. If you don't want to be welcomed, I can only recommend this restaurant.

Super Essen, bester Kaffee, freundliche Bedienung. Immer wieder gerne. vor allem die italienischen Spezialitäten sind top.
