What world4wine doesn't like about Brasserie L'affaire:
We know France and its cuisine and this place inspired us. In a beautiful street full of other equally friendly premises, we expected to enjoy a good dinner but we were unfortunately disappointed. The sliced appetizer and cheese was good, but only the cheeses were local because the sliced were a European mix, except for the Ardenne ham. Very disappointing eating. we hoped to eat good steak, as expected in a good French brasserie, but it was extremely disappointing. they serve the same sweetness with the meat they are the calves, sweets or fish, strange no? the cut with crimsons was really disappointing. service and ambiente were ok. will never return there.
The restaurant is closed. trip advisor will let them book, but looks like they close large construction or officially. call them first, do not book thru trip advisor or the forks!
We got reservations kinda late. When we got there the staff were inviting. The host spoke English which helped us. The staff were attentive and accommodating. The food was delicious. I will definitely be back when I am in Reims again.

Excellent address in a very pleasant setting. Cooking in the air of time! A treat every time.
