Reviews - Deep Blue
Reviews summary
Deep Blue Restaurant delivers a mixed experience for diners. While many praised the quality of the fish, lauding its thickness and flaky texture, the chips were frequently criticized for being cold, dry, or reminiscent of cardboard. Issues such as delayed deliveries and poor service have further marred the establishment's reputation, prompting some to consider reporting their dissatisfaction. However, positive feedback highlights the generous portions, friendly staff, and attentiveness to dietary needs, suggesting that when executed well, the offerings can provide good value for money. The overall sentiment remains one of inconsistency, indicating room for improvement.

We had a take away in July and the food was lovely. Big portions, freshly cooked and good value. Staff were pleasant. Will come back in the future for a take away. View all feedback.
What Theresa Boyd dislikes about Deep Blue:
The food was served cold and I was charged almost £9 for just one and a half bags of chips. I was very disappointed with my delivery; I have never experienced such low-quality service before. View all feedback.

Cannot fault them foods lovely delivery people are polite and friendly use every time.
I don't usually do reviews but felt you may like to know what I thought of your fish and chips. I've been twice in 2 weeks, fish is really good, the best I've had in the area. But the chips are appalling. First time I thought it may be bad luck, it was around 5 o'clock and I actually wondered if they were reheated leftovers from the night before. Like cardboard, empty and tasteless. I gave it another go as the fish was so nice but the chips were still dreadful. You really should deal with this as cooking good chips is not rocket science! I won't be back but you need to know why you're losing customers.
The food was delicious, the staff was kind and friendly, and I felt very welcomed. I especially enjoyed using their loyalty app, which was recommended to me by one of the staff members. I highly recommend this restaurant!
I was overcharged for fish and chips the cod was small not very tasty and £21 for small cod and chips. Won't be going there again. Very poor.

Whether it's because of new staff or whatever the end product here recently (mine; cod and chips) was in the premier league!
First time we’ve visited here and the chips was lovely and fresh, the fish was cooked perfectly and the server Paul was really helpful in the knowledge of what foods my daughter could eat due to allergies. He was polite and friendly. Great value for money, we will be returning
We’ve ordered from here a number of times but this was not up to the usual standard. Part of our order included scampi and halloumi bites and both arrived very burnt. The coating was almost black. We also had short portions on the chips. We usually get 1 regular and 1 large chips between 4 and this is usually plenty for us but this time both portions together barely made up the usual regular size portion. Food was also cold when it arrived. Fish was very good and frickles great. However this didn’t make up for the rest and overall. It worth what we paid.
I decided to try a new chip shop for lunch and ordered pie and chips. The pie was so dry I couldn’t eat it and the chips was pretty much the same. For the price tag wasn’t very good value for money.
