I've been twice in 2 weeks, fish is really good, the best I've had in the area. But the chips are appalling. First time I thought it may be bad luck, it was around 5 o'clock and I actually wondered if they were reheated leftovers from the night before. Like cardboard, empty and tasteless. I gave it another go as the fish was so nice but the chips were still dreadful. You really should deal with this as cooking good chips is not rocket science! I won't be back but you need to know why you're losing customers.

Part of our order included scampi and halloumi bites and both arrived very burnt. The coating was almost black. We also had short portions on the chips. We usually get 1 regular and 1 large chips between 4 and this is usually plenty for us but this time both portions together barely made up the usual regular size portion. Food was also cold when it arrived. Fish was very good and frickles great. However this didn’t make up for the rest and overall. It worth what we paid.
