Most pleasant pub two fine beer gardens, front and back. with very friendly service, good beer and excellent eating. a visit of about the half between reigate and redhill is worthwhile on the parking lot in the surrounding streets.

I've eaten this afternoon. good portions and service. I had a vegetarian burger very nice! They can easily park on nearby side roads, so no care that the pub has no own parking. garden front and terrace back.

Visited with friends as a native and thought we would give the hatch away. everything I can say will not go back. the owner/manager seemed more concerned about hanging out and impressing what seemed to be regular than the...customers of which there were only few to look. what finally left us was the way he spoke to the server there a young person who tried their best. no apology for rudeness! there are many better facilities before location and we will give them our business in future.

Proper pub with great food. I had Sunday dinner, roast beef for me lamb for the woman. really good, right bratkartoffeln etc. real ale. right pub without machines or piped music...good outdoor seat friendly service. highly recommended.

Well located and different, with excellent food. Friendly and efficient staff. Good well kept beer. A most hospitable place two fine beer gardens.

The Hatch, a cozy pub with a friendly atmosphere, has garnered both praise and criticism in recent visits. While some patrons enjoyed hearty meals like roast dinners and well-prepared vegetarian options, others found the food underwhelming, particularly noting poorly executed dishes and disappointing portion sizes. The service received mixed reviews; some appreciated the attentive staff, while others pointed out a lack of professionalism from the management. Despite the concerns, many commend the pub's charm, local ales, and vibrant community feel, suggesting it still has potential for a satisfying dining experience with some improvements in food quality and service.
