We booked the pub for a 50th birthday party with around 50 guests in July 2019 and had a fantastic evening. Waine and his team were very accommodating, the food was delicious and there was plenty of it. The gardens were a hit with the kids and the atmosphere was wonderful. They even had the Cricket World Cup Final on for us, which was an added bonus. It was a night to remember. Waine was great with handling all our emails before the party and responded quickly. They were able to cater to all our needs and the staff that looked after us on the night were exceptional. Overall, if you're looking for a venue with character, outdoor space, rural views, and great food, this is the ideal place for a private party or just a great pub in general.
Regulars for Saturday breakfast and Sunday lunch. Lovely food and genuinely welcoming staff a great favourite

Mid week visit with friends, nice surroundings, friendly attentive staff in an old fashioned run pub rather than a big chain pub. Cheers
Nestled in a charming locale, this pub delivers a mixed dining experience that captivates some while leaving others unsatisfied. Many patrons rave about the generous portions and delicious Sunday roasts, praising the attentive staff and inviting atmosphere perfect for families and gatherings. Guests appreciate the accommodating service, particularly for special events, marking memorable celebrations. Additionally, dog lovers enjoy the welcoming environment for their furry friends. However, some have reported disappointing food quality, with dry burgers that detracted from their experience. Overall, this establishment promises a cozy destination, yet consistency in food quality may need addressing.

Just wanted to say thank you for the amazing food you put on for my dad's wake on Friday. The selection of food was wonderful and tasted delicious. It catered for everyone's needs and likes. It was set out beautifully and freshly cooked. The staff could not have been more helpful and accomodating. Many thanks.
Although it was a rather wet day, this place is very nice. the child area does not make fairness in previous photos. the pond and its escapes are very soothing and well maintained. what they can feed over the donator for a low fee. although one did expensive, eating is worth every penny. but the best of all is made the house brownie. omg if they are not too sharp on standard brownies, they will be L.O.V.E these. crispy, moist and the most delicious chocolate flavor. the staff is fresh, friendly and beautiful. I can't blame.
Stopped by here on a bike ride to Brighton. We ordered the pie and it was amazing. All our friends had food envy. Ontop of that, the service was super friendly and kind. Shout out to Chloe! We'll be back
