Young and handsome people in service and kitchen, very attentive owner.Few surprises for guests are certainly guaranteed, no matter The Spring Menu (also available as Vegetarian) or À la Carte have been choosen.Snacks are to remember, specially Sourdough bread with Sommerlust butter. Excellent.We have choosen Fisch Starters and happy that done a right choice.Café de Paris, vegetable variation and «Sommerlust» fries has been very tasty and in an original presentation.Lovers of the Sweet will be impressed from desserts of Sommerlust.We would certainly recommend Villa Sommerlust and it is worth to step a visit to this gastronomy temple at Rhine in Shaffhausen.

The service w... read more The entrance of the property was nicely decorated with Xmas like lighting and trees, making the entrance to the restaurant very nice and pleasant. The service was very helpful and we received very well detailed explanations. We went for the season menu and we enjoyed every bit of it. To note that the season menu can be selected as plant based option, i.e. for vegans. It was a nice pleasant surprise and highly recommended. Important to know that the price goes hand in hand with the quality, so it is a treat and you should have the time to enjoy it and make good use of the money

Great location, enjoyable dinner with good wines and the opportunity to taste whiskey from the highest distillery “Orma” and try cigars from “Importadora Corazza”. I'd love to be there again at the next event!
