The food was amazing, large portions and then menu has something for everyone. They also have good options for kids but you have to ask (its not on the menu). Make reservations because they get very busy!

Good thing b... read more We heard so much talk about this Portuguese restaurant that we had to try it. We did make reservations ahead of time since it was a Friday evening. Good thing because the place isn't that big. We were looking for some good Portuguese food but was a little disappointed. No salt cod or octopus so I ordered the Bife A Portuguesa. The food was plentiful and tasty as were the cocktails. So plentiful that we needed doggie bags to take home. Got ourselves a second meal for the next day. The staff were friendly and right on top of it. Would go back to try another Portuguese specialty.

From the stuffed mushrooms appetizer to our prime rib, lobster, and broccoli Alfredo, the food was absolutely sensational—served piping hot. Everything tasted fresh and packed with flavor, and the portions were extremely generous. We highly recommend Alive!

The server was so friendly and attentive. I highly recommend.
