The bagels are delicious (and I'm a girl who grew u... read more My partner and I moved here about a year ago and this has become our favorite spot for breakfast and brunch. The bagels are delicious (and I'm a girl who grew up on NJ/NY bagels), the service is always great, the coffee tastes incredibly fresh, and I haven't had a better breakfast sandwich anywhere else! I highly recommend trying the Malibu Bunny.

The three bagels we ordered were lacking in toppings and were quite bland. Additionally, the bagels were undercooked. I would give the t-shirts at this place 5 stars, but the bagels only deserve 2 stars.

However, since the change in ownership, there have been some changes, and not all of them for the better. The bagels, which used to be soft and chewy, are now too doughy and inconsistently cooked - perfectly golden on one side but almost white on the other. It seems like they forgot to flip the bagels. Furthermore, the customer service has declined with the new order system. Customers place their order and then wait in line for their food. This means that if you order something like a lox spread, two coffees, and two bagels, you might receive everything except the bagels at the register and have to wait in line again for them. This last time, despite it not being very busy, people stood around the register doing nothing while others' orders were being prepared. A little streamlining in the process, like having a dedicated person bagging bagels on weekends, would greatly improve the overall experience.

Also tried the pizza bagel off the kid menu. Yum! Definitely grab a bag of bagels to take home and spread cream cheese, Nutella, or peanut butter.
