Cha Cha Lacas - Regina Beach

Positives: good (not great) food, generours portions, free taco chips, delicious salsa, inspiring hot sauce imported from Mexico.BUT...the price we paid to sit inside in an airconditioned environment on a hot day was simply too high: an annoyingly high level of music and blender noise coupled with inefficient service and flies.This is a restaurant with reasonable food where good intentions abound. However, it needs direction on how to organize its services and train its many staff to use their time efficiently. If I return sometime, I will definitely avoid the pandemonium of the inside restaurant.

We enjoyed the fish tacos and the beef tacos. The free salsa and chips were a great addition. Staff was friendly and welcoming. The frozen margarita and the moito we're very delicious. They have a great selection of authentic Mexican food. Another must when at Regina Beach. See you again real soon

Chacalacas is thee most divine Mexican restaurant I have ever had the pleasure of eating at...the food, the service, the margaritas everything is absolutely AMAZING!!!!

We were excited to try this place, however very disappointed with the wait time. Plus we were overcharged. My daughter had a 6.99 kids meal. They charged me extra for her drink which was to be included. I asked to substitute fries for her side and was charged for a side order of fries. So her meal cost $13. She couldn't even eat her taco. It was so drenched in grease that she couldn't pick it up. Asked for cheese on side. It came in it. Waitress didn't know what came in a kids taco (apparently potatoes!). Waited forever for the bill. Had to ask another server bad ours was chatting at the bar. Won't be back again.

We went a little early as we were in the area shopping. The smaller room filled up quickly as we waited for our order and munched on complimentary nachos . They have a very good selection of imported Mexican beer and a good tropical mixed drink menu as well. The food was exceptional , with a really broad selection. Overall service, food quality and atmosphere was like a trip to Mexico. If you like a little spice in your life, make sure you hit this spot.
